This project is the renovation of the facade of an existing retail building in Fashion Island in Newport Beach, California. The application of a custom metal louver system provides an updated appearance to the building as well as adjacent public space in the center. This was designed to provide an interplay of shadows during the day, accented by concealed color changing LED lighting at night.
